What do we do with your information?
We process and use personal data, which is personally supplied by you within our internet services, to maintain customer relationships, for our advertising and for order processing. The information required for this is transferred to service providers. We will neither sell your data to third parties, nor maket it in other ways.
When do we collect, process and use personal information from you?
Each time a user accesses one of our pages and every time a file is retreived, access data is stored by us and partly from third parties through this process in the form of log files. Each record consists of:
- The website from which our website was accessed;
- The IP address;
- The date and time of access;
- The client’s request;
- The http answer code;
- The amount of data transmitted;
- The information about the browser you are using and the operating system you are using.
For example, Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc. (“Google”), is used. The information generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
If IP anonymization has been activated on this website, however, your IP address is truncated within member states of the European Union or in other contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to this. In exceptional cases, the full IP address is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymisation is active on this website. By order of the operator of this website, Google uses the information transferred to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on website activities and provide further services connected with website usage and internet usage for the website operator.
Insofar as there is the possibility to enter personal or business data (for example email addresses, names and addresses), data is disclosed by the user on an expressly voluntarily basis. We only use the personal data transmitted this way for the purpose for which it was provided to us. Whilst processing your inquiries, your orders and your use of our services, we commission partial subcontractors who only receive the transferred data which is required to carry out their tasks and only use it for this purpose. Moreover, the service providers are contractually bound to comply with this data protection policy.
What are my options to act against the storage of my data?
You have the right to receive information about your stored personal data, free of charge and upon request. Additionally, according to the (German) Federal Privacy Act you have the right to oppose the use and/or transmission of your data for advertising purposes. In addition, in accordance with the legal provisions, you have the right to correct, block and delete your personal data. In these cases, please contact our below mentioned privacy officer in writing or by email.
What are cookies and how are cookies used?
In Internet Explorer 9, you do this as follows:
- Select “Internet Options” in the “Tools” menu.
- Click on the “Privacy” tab.
- Slide the switch on the left side of the dialog box to the top (“Block all cookies”).
- Confirm the settings by clicking “OK”.
In Firefox 45.0, you do this as follows:
- Select “Settings” in the “Tools” menu.
- Under “Privacy”, select “Use custom settings” in the list under “Remember history”.
- Unclick “Accept cookies”.
- Confirm the settings by clicking “OK”.
If you use another internet browser, then please refer to the instructions on the help function of your browser or from your software manufacturer concerning how to disable and delete cookies.
